Why Humph exists

In 2022, a small charity CEO told us she'd finally won enough funding to hire a junior marketing coordinator.

The catch: she had no time, no budget and no in-house expertise to show that person what good looked like. She was staring at a blank page, asking the questions every growing charity asks:

Humph is for small and micro charities and purpose-led organisations, especially those with a clear mission but limited time, budget or in-house marketing and fundraising expertise.

How much does Humph cost?

Humph has three plans. Starter is free, with three templates and 20 Humphrey questions a month. Growth Toolkit is $49 a month or $539 a year for the full toolkit, every pathway and unlimited Humphrey. Strategy Partner is $199 a month and adds monthly expert support.

What are Humph Pathways?

Pathways are guided, step-by-step journeys built around a common charity challenge, such as fundraising, corporate partnerships or running a campaign. Each pathway sequences the right templates, examples and AI support so you always know the next step.

Who is Humphrey?

Humphrey is Humph's AI coach and thinking partner. Rather than answering from the open internet, he draws on Humph's own tools, frameworks and decades of real-world charity, fundraising and marketing experience to help you decide what to do next.

How is Humph different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT will give you an answer, but it won't tell you whether it's the right one for a small charity. Humph pairs AI with proven frameworks and real-world fundraising and marketing experience, so the guidance is grounded in what actually works for charities.

Is Humph only for Australian charities?

Humph is built specifically for the Australian charity sector, so its guidance, examples and compliance context suit Australian organisations. Charities elsewhere can still use the tools, but the examples are Australian.

What is a Plan on a Page?

A Plan on a Page is a one-page summary Humph helps you produce, such as a fundraising, brand, partnership or campaign plan, that you can share with your board, team or funders.
